Who We Are

Our laboratory specializes in research and development (R&D) in the areas of genetic improvement through conventional breeding and biotechnological methods, agrotechnology of economically important medicinal and aromatic plants, process technology for phytochemicals, knowledge-based herbal formulations, plant extracts, bioprospection for new drugs and organic farming.

Services

Knowledge-based herbal formulations

Investigates traditional and contemporary herbal formulations for their efficacy, safety, and potential therapeutic applications.

Organic farming

Focusing on organic farming methods that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and resource conservation.

Tissue culture techniques and Applications

We develop and refine tissue culture techniques for plant propagation, conservation, and genetic improvement.

Plant extracts

We study plant extracts and their biological activities, such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Plant growth studies and optimization

Investigates various factors that influence plant growth, such as light, temperature, nutrients, and growth regulators

Indoor vertical farming

We explore advanced technologies and practices for indoor vertical farming.
